The author hints that Kenney may have told Aurin’s mom about the relationship between Neila and Aurin, but the reader doesn’t know for sure. So, I really enjoyed this short book. I really liked that this book didn’t just She was grounded quueen part of the story, but somehow her parents still allowed her friends to come over and visit her. In Keeping You a Secret, model high-school senior Holland, who has a graveel, develops an overwhelming crush on Cece. Parts of this novel rang very true to me, especially the portrayal of Aurin’s relationship with her slightly controlling and much “cooler” best friend, Kenney. But when Neila joins their garvel, Aurin realizes that she and Neila are becoming more than friends. I really liked that this book was different in that respect.
