The plot was also a bit unbelievable: The story itself is fast paced and filled with insight into human and animal nature, complete with Heidi’s loving dog Jiminy. Of Paper And Words: Devine Intervention by Martha Brockenbrough Review

For the first time in my life, I feel I’m with my tribe, people who love books and stories and words as much as I do. It simply doesn’t make sense that free will would apply to the actions of an angel who might bring about the permanent loss of intrrvention dead person’s soul.

It was like an idea a primary-school student would come up with. Okay, so this probably sounds like any other guardian angel book full of gooey romance and annoying heroines, but if you read the synopsis then you’ll know that this isn’t one of those books at all. When Heidi, having experienced unendurable humiliation in a high-school talent show, ventures onto thin ice and falls through, Jerome does his best to save her soul—as much for her own sake, he’s surprised to find, as for his.

I diviine not be happier. Still, the author managed to balance the truly hilarious with the heartbreaking, and that’s not an easy task. People seeking for a refreshing, relevant and heavenly read will certainly devour this one!
