It was not surprising no one would accept that all he wanted was Victoria. And with skin so cold it felt like ice, and in order to become a vampire you need to be bitten by one, AND when they walk into the sunlight they’re supposed to burst into ashes. One can tell the future. Plus, the originality extended to the plot which I really loved.
